| Our recording equipment consists of both vintage analogue 16:8:2 and 16ch automated digital consoles, modified Carillon AC1 (6.4GHz / 4GB) with 20 simultaneous 96kHz/32bit input channels, unlimited tracks, digital processing from Sonaksis, Sony Oxford, Antares & Waves, Analogue outboard processors from ART, Focusrite, Alesis, Sony & more. We have a large collection of industry standard mics from leading such as manufacturers Shure, AKG, Audio Technica, Beyer-Dynamic etc, and world-class BBC spec monitoring section using H.H monoblocks with IMF Transmisionline & Bowers &Wilkins Mid & Nearfield monitors. We also have a professionally designed & built Live Room with 16 channels of signal routing, plus a completely dead Vocal Booth. | Rehearsals take place in our purpose built & fully air conditioned Live Room, which is equipped with high-end gear such as Fender Frontman head & 4x12" stack, Marshall Valvestate head & 4x12" stack, Trucker Custom 2x12" Combo, Pearl Export 5 piece Drum kit, 8ch Wharfedale Pro 300w PA, Carlsbro Cobra 15" Bass Combo & Laney 15" Bass Combo. We also have a selection of instruments available for hire such as Bass & Rhythm Guitars, Tambourines, Keyboard, Leads & cables etc, and there's a refreshments & accessory shop for drinks, snacks, strings, plectrums, straps & drum sticks. |

Rehearsals
Our professionally designed & built Live Room is acoustically treated & fully sound-isolated, so, unlike your run-of-the-mill rehearsal rooms you may be used to, you can play here as loud as you like, in a recording studio live room, with better kit - and for less money! It's equipped with the gear as listed above, which is provided for use at no extra cost, so there's no need to lug your own amps etc around. All you need to bring are your instrumnts & leads, and drum kit breakables such as Sticks, Snare & Crash Cymbals ( a choice of hi-hats & ride cymbals are provided & a snare is available for hire if required).
Recording
This can range from solo vocalists with backing tracks to large bands, either recorded live for demo purposes, or track-at-a-time, for highly polished studio productions. We have experience with recording all manner of instruments & sound sources, such as drums, vocals, electric & acoustic guitars, keyboards, pianos, stringed instruments, brass instruments, choirs and even Cars! We have a Vocal Booth, plus the ability to patch guitars through to the LIve Room, so you can record from the comfort of the Control Room.
Mixing
We provide fully automated mixing for all of your recorded tracks, plus we can process & mix material that was recorded elsewhere.All digital formats & resolutions up to 96kHz / 32bit
Mastering
We offer a complete mastering service, form new / original material, to restorative / corrective editing & mastering to old recordings, all to Red Book standard with PQ encoding.
Music To Video
We can add music to video to suit your requirements, from amateur home movies needing subtle background music, to professional / semi-pro animations & music videos. We can take signal feeds from a range of digital & analogue sources.
Format Changing
We can take audio & video from a number of sources and convert them to whatever format you require. For instance, Tape Cassette & vinyl to CD / Wav / MP3 / AIFF, 8mm / Hi8 Camcorder to DVD / VCD, CD / Vinyl to DVD-A. This includes up & downscaling, and cleaning up / restoration of deteriorated audio
Music Production Workshops / Tutoring
We run workshops for people who would like to broaden their music production skills, on a one-to-one basis or in small groups, where they can learn valuable knowledge & experience in a real recording studio environment, from real professionals. We can teach any area of the industry, including every aspect of:
These workshops can be a way of introducing yourself to the music industry, or can be used as extra help for college students on courses such as National Deploma Music Technology / Production. Workshops & tutoring are provided by our experienced head Engineer & Producer, who holds qualifications such as City & Guilds Level 3 Electrical Installation / Electrotechnical Technology & PAT testing, plus HND Music Production / Technology, and has extensive experience in all aspects of recording, post production & studio design & building projects.

If you're thinking of building your own project studio in your home, we can help! No matter where you want it (bedroom / garage / spare room) or what your budget is - we can give sound advice as to how to go about it, what equipment to buy, what areas to spend in, how to install / oparate & maintain it, and just as important - we can steer you away from common pit-falls & mistakes, possibly saving you £1000's.

Photography
We work in conjunction with local photographers who can take pictures of either your studio session, or any live gigs / performances. They're independant and so charge seperately from us. Email for further details.
